The MPE Department of Islamic University of Technology expresses heartfelt gratitude to Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC for an incredibly enriching and memorable industrial training experience!
Walton, a leading brand in the electronics home and commercial appliances market in Bangladesh, opened its doors to our undergraduate students, welcoming them to their state-of-the-art factory in Chandra, Gazipur.
The one-day tour was packed with exciting opportunities to explore the inner workings of Walton's refrigerator and air-conditioning production line, as well as their impressive mold and die processing unit. Our students were able to witness firsthand the application of engineering basics, production planning, quality control, and operation management.
The engineers responsible for Walton's production were kind enough to share their vast knowledge and experience with our students. They patiently explained every aspect of the manufacturing process, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and expertise.
During this incredible visit, our students had the privilege of meeting some notable alumni from our department who have found success at Walton in various positions. These accomplished individuals inspired our students with their remarkable journeys and demonstrated the limitless possibilities that lie ahead for them.
We are immensely grateful to Walton for going above and beyond to provide our students with a truly immersive industrial experience.
