Mr. Tanvir Shahriar
Assistant Professor
Mr. Tanvir Shahriar received his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary
organ of the Organization of
Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He was awarded the IUT GOLD MEDAL-2018 in the recognition
of his notable academic performance (ranked 1st out of 55 students) and meritorious signature at
every academic activity. Currently, he is serving Islamic University of
Technology (IUT)
as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE) since 2019.
In
addition to his academic qualifications, he is an enthusiastic researcher. His major research interests include: Ocean Engineering, Marine Renewables, Biomimetic Design of Ocean Systems, Wave Hydrodynamics, Wave-Structure Interaction, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUVs), Applied Machine Learning, Energy System Analysis & Design, Energy Policy, and Power Plant Engineering.
Specialization : Ocean Engineering, Wave Hydrodynamics, Marine Renewables, Applied Machine Learning, Energy System Analysis.
