Dr. Mohammad Monjurul Ehsan
Professor
Dr. Ehsan is a mechanical engineering graduate with solid proficiency
and comprehensive knowledge in all essential areas of science and technology.
Dr. Ehsan completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of
Queensland, Australia (QS world ranking-43, USNEWS ranking-36, Top 1% among
global Universities). His Ph.D. research was conducted and supervised under
the Renewable Energy Conversion Centre of Excellence (RECCE) which was
funded by the Queensland State Government and the Australian Federal Government
through the establishment of the Queensland Geothermal Energy Centre of
Excellence (QGECE) and the Australian Solar Thermal Research Institute
(ASTRI). Dr. Ehsan completed his graduation with a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering Programme in November 2010 having a cumulative
grade point average of 3.99 out of 4.00 and was awarded a First
Class First with Honors. He was awarded the most prestigious OIC Gold
Medal by the Prime minister of Bangladesh in recognition of his
outstanding academic performance. In 2012, he completed his Master of
Science in Mechanical Engineering having a cumulative grade point average
of 4.00 out of 4.00. He has so far published 2 book chapters (Springer,
Elsevier), 66 globally recognized peer journal articles, and 15 peer-reviewed
conference papers. He has expertise in various programming languages (C, C++,
FORTRAN, Basic OpenFoam), engineering tools (AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, EES,
Solidworks) and numerical tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, HOMER, IPSEpro, Aspen). Dr. Ehsan
is a performance-driven professional researcher with 13 years of academic
teaching experience. He is forward-thinking and a mature individual with the
demonstrated capability to meet the required specifications, focusing on the
economy, reliability, and sustainability.
Specialization : Applied Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration systems, Renewable Energy Technology, Heat Transfer in nanofluids, CFD modelling, Novel power cycle modeling.
